Chicago Testing Laboratory, Inc. Acquires Schleede-Hampton Associates in Illinois

Nov. 30, 2004—CTL is excited to welcome aboard the management team and staff of Schleede-Hampton Associates in Illinois. This acquisition adds SHA’s 20+ years of geotechnical engineering savvy with CTL’s 150+ years of multidisciplinary expertise. As a result, we’ve greatly expanded our ability to serve you with a greater breadth and depth of service capabilities in the areas of geotechnical exploration, laboratory testing, analysis, reporting and inspection. We’ve also broadened our capabilities in concrete testing and inspection—in addition to the outstanding reputation we have always enjoyed in the bituminous testing and inspection fields. A final benefit is the addition of more locations; CTL now serves your needs in Thornton, McHenry and Elk Grove Village in Illinois as well as Indianapolis, Indiana (see service area map).
