| Quality Assurance, IDOT District One
Chicago provided Quality Assurance services
for Illinois Department of Transportation under the contract
Quality Assurance Testing, QC/QA for Various Routes in
Various Counties, District One (PTB113-19). These services
were part of that contract:
- Plant and on-site inspections for asphalt
and concrete construction.
- Material sampling and testing.
- Carrying out quality assurance duties
as defined in the construction contract.
- Maintaining records and submit documentation
of all QC and QA activities required by the construction
contract.
Under this quality assurance contract,
CTL personnel continued to be selected to conduct quality
assurance testing on District One’s highly visible projects.
CTL personnel conducted the QA analysis on the SMA resurfacing
conducted on the Hubbard’s Cave/Kennedy Expressway project
in the fall of 2001.
